This fantastic cultural event is nomads in their traditional costumes complete with their incredible knowledge on nomadic traditions, young nomadic kids show off their mental capacity see the contest of traditionally dressed beautiful nomadic couples, a trilling folk concert of various nomadic groups takes place as well as a fun competition among the foreign visitors. Moreover , this fabulous festival allow one to take part in the magnificent Naadam festival so called the 2nd old Olympic Games featuring the unique traditional Mongolian sports: archery, horse racing and wrestling , on the 2nd day of the event. The winners of the competitions are invited to gala dinner on the 2nd day and everyone has a great time.

“GOBI CHALLENGE”

The Mongolian Gobi is a land of extremes. Its imposing sand dunes , towering mountains and seemingly endless sun-baked desert plains are home to wolves, bears, vultures and nomadic herders. One of the least forgiving environments o earth, temperatures soar above 40C in summer and plummet a staggering 80C trough winter. Now into its sixth year Sandbaggers Gobi Challenge has firmly established itself as one of the World’s finest desert events. Immense physical and mental challenge, stunning terrain (including an ice gorge, Asia’s highest sand dunes and mountain gorges), adventure, original culture and a sense of camaraderie which must be experienced, to be believed, awaits anyone who prepared to face the challenge. Over the period of a week competitors will cover between 130 and 140 miles on foot while carrying their food, provisions and mandatory safety gears. Bottled water will be provided at designated checkpoints. If you are seeking a physical challenge to push you to your limits in the most in the most magical scenery imaginable then our Gobi Challenge 2009 may be for you…

“NAADAM FESTIVAL”
11-13 July , Mongolia
The funniest and happiest time for Mongolians is being during Naadam. It is organizes between 11-13th of July in every year through out all of soums, provinces and cities at the same time and includes competition of the fastest horses’ racing, wrestling of powerful wrestlers and archery that named as Eriin Gurvan Naadam.
Wrestiling:
512 powerful wrestlers make fighting for championship in Naadam and the champion gets title “Avarga”, 2nd place wrestler gets “Arslan” title and top 4 ranked wrestlers become “Zaan” and everyone who ranked in top 16 become a “Nachin”. Wrestlers wear and wrestling costumes zodog and shuudag. 
Horse racing:
Little boys girls who aged 5-12 years Little boys and girls ride horses in racing and horse trainers prepares their horses for 3-4 months.
Racing horses run for the distance of 15-35 km and 200-300 horses run in every age of all 5 ages.  You can meet honorable and famous horse trainers if you want.
Archery:
It’s so difficult to shoot banded leather strap away from 150-200 m. Every shoot targets are belonged to Erhii mergen and champion of many times honored by the Erhii Mergen.
